We Got You Through Disaster

We Got You Through Disaster Corporation (We Got You TD) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created in response to Hurricane Melissa, a category 5 storm that struck Black River, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, on October 28, 2025, causing severe devastation.

Its founder Donavan Thomas, originally from Black River, decided to establish We Got You TD after hearing firsthand from family and friends about the damage inflicted on his community. Recognizing an urgent need for aid, Donavan is committed to supporting Black River's recovery.

As We Got You TD grows, it will use lessons learned in Black River experience to support other regions and communities affected by natural disasters.
